Charming, charismatic and talented are just a few words to describe the extremely gifted Nella.
A songwriter since the age of six, Nella has never known a time in her life where she has not been singing or writing music. She exemplifies everything that a hard-working, goal driven musician should strive for.
Musically trained in Colaiste Stiofán Naoifa, Cork, Ballyfermot College of Further Education, Dublin and University College Cork (some of Ireland's most prestigious centres for music education). Not only is her natural talent very apparent but the years of hard work and study also shine through in her captivating performances.
Having released her debut EP 'Revolution' in 2015, this girls promising career has already reached great heights; hitting the number one spot on iTunes with pre-order sales, and named by Dermot & Dave as Ireland's Today FM’s home-grown hero.
Add in bundles of national and regional radio play from other heavyweights like FM 104, Spin 103.8 and Red FM, it’s been a fantastic time for the Irish singer-songwriter and her debut EP ‘Revolution’.
Always one for lush textures and harmonies, Nella has gathered a talented group that brings added depth and colour to four beautifully crafted tracks featuring Kama Swoboda Wietrzyk (violin with Kodaline), Matt Rafter (cello with Hozier) and Ciaran McManus on keys.
December 2015 saw Nella travel to Los Angeles with Meteor award winning guitarist Eamonn Barrett (Royseven) to participate and perform at the Youbloom music festival & conference. During her stay in LA she collaborated with three time Emmy award winning composer Russel Brower, best known for this work on World of Warcraft, many Disney productions and Batman: The animated series.
With a host of soon to be announced shows kicking off and a debut album in the pipeline, 2017 is shaping-up to be a stellar year for Nella.
