What Next for Nella?

Nella

At the end of last week on Friday, Nella released her most awaited and latest song, ‘Just Breathe’, which was a virtual collaboration project with Tamara Miller. They were introduced to each other by The Society of Composers and Lyricists.  The pop song has already moved up to number four on the iTunes Charts and is available on the Apple platform and all music platforms.  The fans have warmed up to the sound and the message in the song and have described it as ‘relaxing and timely’. People are finding that it has a meditative effect on them. The single (which is of pop genre) has been signed to a Los Angeles based, major TV and movie sync licensing company.

Last year, the Singer and Songwriter released a folk ballad ‘We’re All in This Together’ featuring an Irish music legend Donal Lunny, which she had written 10 years prior to the release and finished during the Covid 19 lockdown.  The song offered great comfort, strength and hope to individuals and families during the tough times and it garnered great media attention.   It was played on RTE Radio One and Corks 96fm amongst others.

Nella has accomplished so much in the world of music, her EP Revolution single was released in 2015, and it immediately leaped to the number one spot on iTunes in pre-order sales.  She has composed and performed live games music, with video games live in China and was the Lead vocalist for the World of Warcraft - the most popular video game series of all time. Her beautiful and shimmering vocals have also been regarded as "ethereal" and "haunting".   She has featured in video game tracks, film music, pop music and traditional music as a solo artist or in collaboration with some of the worlds most talented musicians and composers.

Nella featured in CIACLA, along with Colin Devlin, Eamonn McCrystal, Tríona O’Neill, Rowan and Jack Van Zandt.  The show was celebrating Irish musical talents based in Los Angeles through a weeklong curated showcase.  It was Launched on March 15th, and posted video performances to show the style and sound of each musician, songwriters and composers based in LA.  It was curated by Hannah Crowley and produced by Matthew Nevin supported by Government of Ireland Emigrant Support Programme and MART Gallery & Studios.

The most amazing thing is that, most musicians prefer to stick to a certain genre, but Nella continually composes and performs different kinds of music successfully, which range from games songs, film songs, pop songs, traditional folk songs and more, this is just a clear indication of the unique musical talent that she possesses in creating a project of Disney style music, ethereal Celtic tribal music, electronic projects, and personal song projects, and in the words of the wise, “The gift of a man makes room for him and leads him before the kings.”

In future, Nella would like to compose more music for video games, films, and TV shows.  She would love to attend many more video game conferences and create more movie tracks.  When the situation returns to normal, she would like to do more live shows, go for tours in China and other parts of the world and get hired for major events.   Nella cannot rule out future collaborations as she greatly enjoys teaming up with other talented artists.  All her music is available on all major music platforms.
