Just Breathe: New Single Coming Out on the 19th of March 2021!
Irish singer songwriter NELLA is releasing a new single that comes out on March 19th called ‘Just Breathe.’ NELLA is recognized worldwide for her solo vocals on Blizzard entertainment's multi-million-dollar video game franchise ‘World of Warcraft: Legion’ which is one of the most widespread video game series in the world today. Her Lead vocals on World of Warcraft video game series continues to captivate fans all over the world. The World of Warcraft music has been described as ‘ethereal and haunting’ gaming music. The shimmering and haunting games sounds cannot be easily forgotten in the minds of her fans!
In Ireland she has had a #1 Alternative Pop EP, Revolution and more recently released her ballad song “We’re All in This Together”, featuring Irish music legend, Donal Lunny. Nella's unique and captivating music and wide-ranging talents have earned her worldwide fame and acclaim. Her unique voice has been described as "ethereal" and "haunting," and she has many different styles of writing and her projects reflect this.
NELLA has toured China extensively on multiple Video Games Live tours which she is the solo vocalist for with many orchestras and choirs conducted by three-time Emmy winning composer Russell Brower. NELLA’s vocals and song writing has featured in unique and captivating video game tracks, films and pop music and regularly collaborates with composers and songwriters all over the world such as recent projects with Jeff Rona and Glen Ballard.
NELLA and Tamara Miller came together to write this song, through a Los Angeles organisation they are members of- “The SCL” (The Society of composers and lyricists). Tamara is a Los Angeles based Composer, Producer and Singer-Songwriter. Tamara's music can be heard on numerous television shows worldwide including Degrassi: The Next Generation, Saturday Night Live, The Dr. Oz Show, The Emmy Award Winning Soap Opera - The Young and the Restless, Fox Sports, MLB, The Bachelor among many others. NELLA and Tamara were matched by the SCL and wrote and recorded a song together remotely during lockdown. Tamara then produced it in Los Angeles and their song became this unique new single, Just Breathe.
With both similar and different styles, the two came together and created this beautiful ballad that melts both their different styles and could be heard both on radio and could be featured in a TV show or a movie. The song is a hopeful reminder that no matter what is going on, no matter how tough situations can get, we can take a moment for ourselves. While we wait in hope for ‘something so magical that’s so close but yet so far away’ to be a distant memory and to “Just Breathe.”
